Lunch On The Train
There were a number of bento boxes available on the train, but this one was fun. It's actually a coin bank. The contents were room temperature, but there was some good vegetables in the box. John Harvey Photo > Trips out of the Country > A Second Trip to Japan > Matsumoto > Lunch On The Train

Tofu Boiling
Large blocks of Tofu were boiled in this large pot with a few spices in the water. We then used a bamboo fork to remove the blocks and cover them soy sauce, wasabi, seasame seeds and another seed and eat. Lunch Box Kit
After seeing the ropeway, we stopped in the huge, empty dining area for lunch. The place could have served 3 tour buses full, but it served the 5 of us in record time. The salad, made of mini vegetables, was my favorite. John Harvey Photo > Trips out of the Country > A Second Trip to Japan > Beppu > Lunch Box Kit
