Water Covered Fountain
I remember this fountain from a previous trip where I wasn't happy with the photo I got of it. I'm still not thrilled, but it's better. After I finished taking the photo there was a queue of young people also wanting to photograph my discovery.

Fountain in Daisho-in
Like so many other scenic fountains, this is for clensing yourself before you go visit the temples. I rarely saw them used, but they are nice too look at.

Cleaning Fountain

When you enter temple areas you are supposed to clean your mouth and hands.
Westerners are excused (it might be just a Buddhist thing), but these fountains are found at many of the larger
sites.

Public Fountain

What can I say? Those Japanese are brilliant! This is a knock off of Manneken Pis in Germany.
