Little Spray

This just a small stream that flows into the river, but the lighting (a column
of light through the canopy) made it fun to play with.

Rocks and Water

This is just off Lynn Creek (which was flowing pretty much at the top of it's banks).
I underestimated just how much depth of field would be required.

Slimy Creek from Eucott Hot Spring

This slimy stuff lives in the warmer water that comes from the spring.
This picture is similar to on

River Through Rocks

I was trying to go for the S curve but the contrast killed me.  I figure this picture was about 3pm (sunset at 7).

Angus Creek Across Beach

Angus Creek splits just before it exits the trees and one part flows out over the beach.
From what I understand of water, this is a bit of strange thing - the beach isn't flat enough to form a delta.

Angus Creek Running

This is Angus Creek which has a trail running beside it for a short section. In the fall
fish return here to spawn. The light was quite dappled which makes for some fun photography.

Anugs Creek with Bright Spot

The trees are generally pretty dense but over sections of the creek direct light shines through.

Motion Blur Water

This is about a second.  Amazingly, Andrea was able to do the same thing
with here Digital Camera while hand holding it.

Creek and Tree

I'm glad I brought my tripod, most of these pictures were close to 1/4 second exposures.

S Bend on Duck Creek with Ferns

This is Duck Creek close to Vesuvius.  I'm always on the look out for pictures with S curves in them.

S Bend on Duck Creek

This is Duck Creek close to Vesuvius.  I was trying to capture the top of the S but the tree in
the foreground blocks it out too much.

Twenty Six Mile Creek

This fast flowing creek would be bad to fall into.

Silverdaisy Creek

I think this is a 30 second exposure with a polarizer to keep within the f-stop range of my lens.

Standing Around Bridge
The bridge deck has been substantially upgraded in the last few years - it isn't scary to cross anymore.
I believe this a 1.5 second exposure.

Light Spots Under Bridge
It was bright blue sky out, but the forest canopy is very dense.
