Bundled Up For Cold Parade
We knew it was going to snow in the afternoon so it was going to be a cold day. The kids had two shirts under their jackets and then Chinese dresses.
Two Lions Dancing
The top two floors of this building are for the Yue Shan Society. The dancing lions and man in the mask came out and performed here before joining the parade.
Two Dragons Chasing Wisdom
That ball represents wisdom. The Dragons chase it around - some dance troops can cross over themselves almost making a knot.
Kids Ready To Watch Parade
Nara and Claira are in this year's Chinese New Years dresses. We parked the car about an hour before the parade started (free parking!) and were seated on the parade route about 30 minutes before people started walking.
