Cable Car Waiting
I believe this is Gokurakubashi Station. You get off a regular train that flowly brought you up the valley and then get on the Cable line (the tilted car shown) to get tup the mountain.

Peak Tram Coming Into The Station
The mechanics here are cool - one track, two cars and very strong cable connecting them. The two cars pass in a section of double track at the middle of the ascent. I just like to say funicular.

Riding Down Mountain
There are two cars that always travel together - one coming up is pulled by the train going down. Where they meet in the middle has two sections of track but for the rest of the mountain there is only one line.

Passing The Car Coming Down
This is the half way point where one train passes the other. You can see the cable between the rails.

Rising Up Hill
This gives you some sense of the pitch going up the mountain. I like the diagonal windows.
