Trestle
This is a three image panorama stitched together in Hugin. I'm thinking this lake is so green because of agricultural runoff. I was impressed it isn't completely grown over by invasive pond lilies.

Nara Swimming Deep
Nara with a life jacket is approximately fearless. She swam out to the limit of the swimming area.

Swim In Seton Lake
This lake is referred to as an inland fjord. Apparently the lake is really deep.

Beaver Lake Full Of Lilies
This is a bizarre picture - this is about 8 images seamed together because I only had a 400mm lens. At the time, I think this was the largest flower display in all of Vancouver and it was completely natural.
Species: Nymphaea odorata (Fragrant Water Lily)

Irises By Beaver Lake
More of what you are seeing here is invasive. The Yellow Iris's (Yellow Flag Iris) block out cattails that should be growing here. Most of the lilies you see are fragrant water lily - again invasive. The native lilies are yellow.
Species: Iris pseudacorus (paleyellow iris, yellow flag), Nymphaea odorata (Fragrant Water Lily)

Claira Walking In Trout Lake
You can tell Claira to only go in as deep as her knees and she mostly follows directions. It's pretty cool.

View Of The Lake And Mount Fuji
The taxi driver knew where to drive us - while we were taking photos two other taxi's came by and let our tourists to take the same photo. If you look through the top of the clouds you will see a tiny piece of Fuji. We never got a better view.

Petals On The Lake
The Petals blew off the dock and into the lake. I really liked to similarity between the soft petals and the soft ripples on the lake.

Lake on Black Mountain

The Money Shot.  The other lakes on the mountain were frozen over, but for
some reason this one wasn't.  It's not shallow and seemed to be pretty much lifeless.

Yellow Pond-Lily - Nuphar polysepalum - On Lake
I think this is my favorite shot of the trip. Those are Yellow Pond-Lily - Nuphar polysepalum.
Species: Nuphar lutea (yellow pond-lily)

Lantern Raft On Trout Lake
A number of lanterns had gone out (it was raining earlier) so the raft wasn't as bright as it could have been.

Yew Lake With Fog
Fog really is the only way to take photos of trees. What I didn't clue into until recently is that rain often comes with fog and I don't often go hiking in the rain. I'm wondering if that is worth changing.

Rainier Reflected
Apparently sunrise is "the time to go". By the afternoon the wind had picked up and the lake was too rough to form a good reflection.
