Lightning Over English Bay
This is the best frame out of about 200 images. Roughly 10 of the frames had lightning strikes in them.

Thunderstorm Over Vancouver
I really like that you can see the stars at the top of the frame for roughly half of the movie. This is roughly 200 frames at 20seconds each (every 21 seconds) for a little over an hour of time. The camera ran out of battery power as it wasn't fully charged when it started.

Downtown From Stanely Park Pano
This is a postcard shot. It would look cool if you could do something with stars with it.

East Endof Water Street
I really like those red car lights as they trail off.

Steam Clock Looking East
I figured the steam clock would have added a lot of fog, but I was wrong.

Water Street Cafe In Fog
I was looking for something more romantic. It didn't happen. The light streaks from the car were nice though.

Hotel Europe
The Flatiron Building in New York is 22 stories tall. The Hotel Europe is a similar shape but only five or so stories tall. It was raining just a little bit to keep the streets wet for the reflections.

View Down Abbott Street
The step between cobblestones and pavement is quite glaring here.

Clouds Rolling Over Downtown From Cypress
This is 215 images at 10 seconds each - roughly 35 minutes elapsed. I had to stop because the exposure what out of range - I could no longer take 10 seconds exposures.

The exposure was shot auto and then corrected in post which wasn't easy. There is some motion in the tripod - I think got warmer or I touched it a bit. I corrected the motion in post. I have blended the images to make this a 45fps video and to try and remove some of the residual brightness flickering.

Bridge Sticking Through Clouds
I have balanced the brightness of the sky with the clouds below a little. The bridge was never completely visible. I was hoping some of the port areas might show up, but no luck there either.

Barred Owl Looking At Me
Those claws (talons) really are for killing. Both time I saw the birds, I saw them fly to the ground to investigate things - I suspect look for small mammals.
Species: Strix varia (Barred Owl)

Barred Owl Side View
Getting under the canopy to get a photo was easy - getting a clear shot without branches in the foreground took a little bit of maneuvering. When I wasn't moving, the bird basically ignored me.

My camera is in the shop - this photo was taken with my wife's camera.

Road Bike Walking Route Up
Amazingly, there were people walking over the bridge on a rainy night. I have yet to walk this bridge.

Skytain And Traffic Near Stadium Station
I like how the viaduct takes up about half of the image but doesn't really draw your attention.

Seurat Bathing At Asnieres
This shot really reminds me of a Georges Seurat painting: A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte

Not least because I saw it the week before in the British National Gallery.
