Mourning Dove In Branches
People first spotted this bird across the river. The binoculars crowd is generally happy having seen a bird - the photo people crossed the river and got closer to get a useful image. We didn't get close enough to scare it though - a crow came by and literally chased it off it's perch.
Muskrat Just Out Of Water
I've seen a muskrat only once before - in lighting lake at Manning Park. This one got out of the water, looked around and then got back into the water.
