Nara Throwing A Rock Compared to the boys in swimming class, Nara isn't much of a thrower. That said, she is getting better - those stones are pretty heavy.

Mixed Flock This has the bar-tailed Godwit with the black bellied plovers to give a comparison for size. If the bird has it's beak out, it's easy to spot but if it's sleeping or beak in the sand, it blends in pretty well.

Black Bellied Plovers You can see a mix of belly colours here. The black ones are probably multi-year olds and the white ones are probably in their first year.
