Columnar Basalt Cliffs Apparently this whole area was once a giant volcano - hence all the columnar basalt. There is a road on the far side of those cliffs - I don't know how easy it is to hike in the area.

Leaves Curling In Mimosa Pudica Mimosa Pudica, sometimes called "sensitive plant" is something Helen remembers from Hong Kong as a kids. You can buy it in the flower market. Turns out it an invasive plant from the Americas. Oh well.

Touching Sensitive Plant I showed Nara this plant when we were in the flower market. She found it when we were out for a walk.

Feral Cows On Walk Apparently there are more than a thousand feral cows in Hong Kong now. I'm surprised one hasn't wandered into Mong Kok while I have been around.
