Bright Golden Aster In Dry Grass I like how you get a splash of colour in a dry and drab background of dead grass. The park labeled this as "Chrysopsis villosa", but apparently that name is now out of date - it's "Heterotheca villosa var. villosa"

In The Lake From Trestle There is a small current where the lake drains here. We didn't have life jackets for the kids so we wouldn't let the kids go swimming here.

The trestle is from the Kettle Valley Railway and is now part of the trans Canada trail.
