Boiling Red Spring at Umi Jigoku
Umi Jigoku is known for it's sea-blue pool, but I found the more natural (and less steamy) rust coloured pool more attractive.
Eggs Cooking
Many of the hot springs were selling hard boiled eggs cooked in the spring water. These eggs were 50 yen each (70 cents Canadian) and included a little packet of salt. There was no sulfur taste.
Garden And Pond
This is the view as you walk into the park. With the haziness, I wasn't happy with the photo, but I'm sure you could do a lot with a long lens.
Oguni Village North
The large tower on the left is the hotel we stayed in. The huge building on the right is the largest in town - it probably has 100 rooms.
