Boiling Red Spring at Umi Jigoku Umi Jigoku is known for it's sea-blue pool, but I found the more natural (and less steamy) rust coloured pool more attractive.

Eggs Cooking Many of the hot springs were selling hard boiled eggs cooked in the spring water. These eggs were 50 yen each (70 cents Canadian) and included a little packet of salt. There was no sulfur taste.

Garden And Pond This is the view as you walk into the park. With the haziness, I wasn't happy with the photo, but I'm sure you could do a lot with a long lens.
