Washed up sailboats are a big problem in BC. I suspect Hawaii has the same problem. This boat washed up on December 6th (according to the GoFundMe page) and they have been raising the money to get it going again. The owner used to live in the boat moored just off shore but the storm had other ideas...
Watching Sunset From Life Guard Tower
I don't know when the life guards came off duty, but at sunset sometimes people stood in the life guard tower to get a better view of the sunset. The washed up sailboat was right in front of the tower so I'm surprised the view was actually better.
