Marsh Sandpiper Wading
The guide identified this as a Marsh Sandpiper but the Common Greenshank sure looks similar. (Common Greenshank has a bit of an upturned bill - Marsh Sandpiper is flatter. These two birds are very closly related (both Tringa Genus)
Black Face Spoonbill
Everybody is excited about this bird because there is only a few thousand of them left in the world and only a few hundred come to Hong Kong. There was a flock of about 30 of them in a larger pond and a few individuals wading.
