View From Mount Norman
This is a 7 shot panorama. To get a sense of distortion (this is getting close to 180 degrees), that brown/grey bits in the corners is a wooden guard rail. In real life, it's straight.
This is the Lighthouse at Turn Pt on Stuart Island in the San Juan island chain (built in 1936). Around the corner is massive cliff with rookeries on it.
Just the Head of a Seal
As the Kayak drifted closer, my temptation was to zoom out (towards 80) to continue including the whole animal. I decided to do otherwise.
Running Water
I believe this is Boat Passage in front of us. We are standing on Saturna Island and that is Samuel Island in front of us. That current can get quite strong.
