King Fisher Fishing
This is 5 photos composited in photoshop. This tiny bird was repeatedly fishing (dumb fish) so I shot on each flight. Too bad I don't own a 1500mm lens.

Welcome to Shearwater BC! This is the resort half of Bella Bella. The large marina holds many tourist boats (many from the US) and the buildings house a small store, laundry, a post office, a general store and a large marine repair facility. There is a pub (with the metal roof in front of the mustard building). The big boat in the front is the Parry - a comercial tourist fishing boat - you live on board and go out in the runabouts each day to get the best fishing.
This is a Spiny Dogfish, also called mud shark (to scare children). While we were tied up here it's all the fisherman on board pulled up. You can't even use them for bait - the fish smells badly of amonia.
We pulled up the prawn traps and these were inside. These are mostly Humpback Shrimp (Pandalus Hypsinotus), but we did get a few Prawns (Pandalus Platyceros).
