The gentlemen who ran the rides had dry pellets that the horses really like to eat. The kids placed them flat in their hands and the kids ate them.

The horses had long since mowed down any green grass in their enclosure so they were happy for green grass from the neighboring field.
The horse in front (my horse) is Ginger. Very calm - good for me because I haven't been on a horse for at least 10 years! The border collie cross walked with us for the full hour.
