	Coyote Walking By Coyote should have fluffy tails. This one is pretty bare - generally caused by the irritation from mange. The cool kids could tell you if this is a Mountain coyote or a Coyote Wolf hybrid. I have no idea. 	Black-crowned Night Heron These birds weren't anywhere near the trails - this was the best view through the trees. The birds seemed to be sleeping most of the time we were there. 	Common Yellowthroat This little guy had a really nice song and was flying along the length of the ditch. He (this is a male) mostly hid in the brambles but did sometimes come out. I used to think that all small birds were "little brown jobbies". Not so much anymore.
