I think if this was a bullfrog that ridge wouldn't continue down the back, it would wrap around the Tympanum and then end.

Tadpole Lurking In The Shallows
I think you can see legs about half way down the body. It's hard for me to tell if this is a green frog or bull frog tadpole - I suspect it's a green frog because there are many green frogs in this pond in the summer, and the body to tail ratio is longer (likely Green Frog) and it doesn't have black spots (Bullfrogs have black spots).
