Pacific Tree Frog
I basically got as close as my lens would allow (corner to corner is 35mm) and then locked off the tripod. I belive this is about 1/20 of a second at f5.6 - it would have taken f11 to do anything with depth of field, but I suspect the frog breathing would have blurred the image. Tags: amphibian

Western Toad

Toad Side View
My good friend Bufo boreas. I was walking in the forest when I saw him and I called Steve over to catch him. Turns out this toad isn't scared of people - it is toxic to eat so he put up with being posed on a near by patch of moss. Species: Bufo boreas (Western Toad)
