Cross Country Skier On Seawall
I was quite happy to see someone in a red jacket ski by. That really made the scene happen. John Harvey Photo > Photos of Vancouver > Vancouver in Snow > Cross Country Skier On Seawall

On Siwash Rock
There was no sign that said you can't climb on it - it was low tide so there wasn't much problem getting out there. John Harvey Photo > Blogs for 2024 to 2005 > 06_2006 > On Siwash Rock

There is a nice little parking lot under the Cambie Street Bridge where we get into the car to go home. John Harvey Photo > Blogs for 2024 to 2005 > October 2016 > Finished At Cambie Street Bridge

Goose On Sea Wall
Usually you can tell when a Canada Goose doesn't like you - it honks and then tries to bite. You can tell when they care - they lift their head up and look at you. You can tell when they don't mind having their picture taken because they go to sleep half way through. I'd love to know who goes around and tells Canadian Geese they are a protected Species here. Species: Branta canadensis (canada goose)
