Nara Working Press
The stamp is the bottom of the sandwich, then paper than two cloths to help things slide. Some cards were ruined by the paper sliding against the stamp.

Claira Rolling Mountains
This was a larger kids focused art station. They had lots of stamps that the kids would roll paint onto and then stamp. Because they couldn't get the pressure the stamps weren't as precise.

Tea Kettle On The Boil
The Kettle was on in Hugh Kearney's studio. He had the best library I saw anywhere - book on three sides making a room within the studio. I like how the studio was captured in the reflection on the kettle.

Rim Highlights On Paintbrushes
This photo was taken in a studio where Gerri York was showing here work. These aren't her brushes, but the artist that owned them wasn't in or showing at this years crawl. Gerri's work made me want to recreate the same look in software - she gets very solid organic images.

Single Brush Detail
This brush belongs to Cybele Ironside - year after year one of my favourite artists. When she was showing at the Ian Tan Gallery down the street from house, I would go for walks just to look in the windows.

Patch On The Floor
I was in 1000 Parker Place and we had just left a furniture place where they had metal rings stabilizing a cracked walnut tabletop. I noticed they had patches on the floor (and a hole nearby that wasn't patched) so I thought it was funny coincidence.

Used Paint Tubes
This impressed me how much paint there was on the tubes. If you picked up a tube I wonder how long it would take to be sure of what colour was inside it.

Paint Splatters On The Floor
The artist laughed when she saw what I was taking a photo of the floor.

2016 update: I visited an artist who paints in black and white only. Floor had coloured paint drippings. I suspect the paintings weren't the only thing painted in that room.

Paint Knives Hanging
In a few places I was impressed how orderly things were. Tools weren't just strewn about - tools had their places and there was only enough places for the tools they had.

This is Umbra & Lux and I continue to think they are cool so another link to you! I saw the last year as well.
