From what I know of, this petroglyph (the large eyes, the mouth open with teeth) means seal. There are petroglyphs on Gabriola and Seals as well.

The grave is for Alan Blackburn, born March 17th 1865, Died April 9th, 1925. I didn't realize that the acronym RIP was actually used on grave stones.

These pigs escaped from an adjacent farm and are eating something they can dig up. They make a large mess pretty quickly.
This little white church was built in 1887.
First built out of wood in 1880, it was encased in stone in the 1950's.
