On the way in, we didn't see this spectacular display of light - on the way out the sun had changed position and we were treated.
Wrist Band
When you go on outings you see wrist bands from other resorts but within the resort, almost everyone has one. Surprisingly, they never appear to be checked, but it's possible that just looking at us makes is enough to verify we are on vacation.
Palm Tree With Blue Sky
Palm Tree With Blue Sky. If I had to guess, I would say it is a coconut palm - Cocos nucifera. You can see seeds in the leaves.
Palm Tree Silhouettes
I like how palm trees blur in the wind. We were walked down the beach from our All inclusive and the sun set in the Dominican Republic turned out to be bother sooner and faster than I expected. The twilight made for some great long exposures.

My favorite part is that venus is just starting to poke in. This is actually my favorite palm tree picture from the Dominican Republic trip.
Great Egret
Without seeing the legs (they should be black) I can't been 100% sure, but I believe this is a Great Egret. The kinked neck distinguishes it from the intermediate.
I'm a big fan of the flowers in the reflection you can't see above the bird.
