Great Blue Heron In The Frost
These are farm fields - for some reason, there are a lot of rodents out there. This looks like a Juvenile - strong two tone orange and dark beak, and very little stripe on the top of the head. Species: Ardea herodias (Great Blue Heron)

Ruby Crowned Kinglet

American Robin Eating Hawthorn
Sad - American Robin is a "lifer". Of course I have seen this bird a billion times - I just haven't bothered to take a photo. Now that I look - really look - at the bird, there are lots of interesting features. This is the first time I have seen this camera display Moiré. Species: Turdus migratorius (American Robin)

Anise Swallowtail On Dandelion
