Naras Painting Of The Sunset At The Beach
This is a watercolour painting on watercolour paper with marker added after the painting had dried. Nara was a little frustrated that the image didn't come out more like the photo but I think she was still happy with the image overall.
Nara Placing House Fly Larvae
This took my aback when I saw it. This the forensics lab at SFU - through brough house fly larvae and you can put the larva in water soluble paint and then put them on a small card to make art. The kids pick up the larvae again and again, dipping them in different paint colours.
Because the kids don't have experience with larva, they think it's fine to use them for art.
Tea Kettle On The Boil
The Kettle was on in Hugh Kearney's studio. He had the best library I saw anywhere - book on three sides making a room within the studio. I like how the studio was captured in the reflection on the kettle.
