Sunset is great.  We are facing northwest off the back deck.

There are a number of pottery makers on the island and
all of them were good.

These are local made candles - I think the text is Noel Hancock Candles.

I'm a sucker for paper.  Jeremy received a journal from here.

This vendor was selling cool painted household objects.  I really like the bright
colors and farm like images.

That winding road is the route to the ferry.  The farms close by
are beautiful.

The house in the back is where we stayed.  The farm building in the front was part of the
studio/barn/working part of the farm.

I'm not really sure what I was going for with this.  We'll see.

These are the cliffs overlooking Samson Narrows.  That jut of land
at the end is Maxwell Point.

The clouds were blowing by and for brief periods of time you could see over to Vancouver Island.

From what I know of, this petroglyph (the large eyes, the mouth open with teeth)
means seal. There are petroglyphs on Gabriola and Seals as well.

I liked how the foggy day added atmosphere to the photo.

This is Duck Creek close to Vesuvius.  I'm always on the look out for pictures with S curves in them.

It was a foggy day.  We were walking through a field next to Duck Creek and these trees
seemed to call out to me.

This is about a second.  Amazingly, Andrea was able to do the same thing
with here Digital Camera while hand holding it.

The grave is for Alan Blackburn, born March 17th 1865,
Died April 9th, 1925. I didn't realize that the acronym RIP was
actually used on grave stones.
