Sailboat Aground At Kamaole Beach Park I
Washed up sailboats are a big problem in BC. I suspect Hawaii has the same problem. This boat washed up on December 6th (according to the GoFundMe page) and they have been raising the money to get it going again. The owner used to live in the boat moored just off shore but the storm had other ideas...
Crowd Waiting For Sunset
I was impressed how many people came out to watch the sunset. For a gentlemen on a beach chair behind me, watching sunset was almost a religious experience.
Lava Rock Coastline
Probably the worst swimming beach ever. The rock is wickedly sharp and unpredictable and the waves crash hard. We stopped to use the bathroom.
Upper Pool With Banyan Wall
We picked the upper pool because the lower pool had lots of people there when we arrived. We didn't have to pool to ourselves for long, but it was nice while it lasted.
I believe that is a Banyan tree growing on the left wall.
