Streptopelia decaocto (Eurasian Collared Dove)

There are a lot of pigeons in Vancouver - mostly rock doves. This species (which is also an introduced species) I haven't seen in the city. The bird was actually quite skittish - he would readily fly up into the trees when people came by.
