Cold Dark Season Again.
Vancouver Christmas Market
The Vancouver Christmas Market has a little bit for
everyone! My mom likes the things for sale - especially the
small carved wood village scenes. My dad seems to enjoy
shopping as well, but I'm never sure quite what he buys. My
kids like the carousel and there are "art houses" where they can
do little crafts. Even my wife is a winner - she got to stay
home and relax with a child free evening!
Everyone happy, we got back in the car a tried to get warm again.
Skating at Robson Square
When Claira was young, she had a nap every day. Nara was too
young for long Chinese classes or homework so we had lots of time on
weekends. Claira grew up, Nara got longer classes and the
skating stopped. The Robson Square Ice Rink is technically
free - if you own skates and it's drop in - public skate all
day. We dropped in and gave it a go!
Nara had lessons and her class did some skating in grade one.
Claira is starting from further back, but she is learning skating
pretty quickly!
Claira Finishes Her Term at Gymnastics
Nara broke her arm in the summer and the
doctor recommended she didn't take gymnastics (or do monkey bars)
for a few months after the cast came off. This December
Claira finished her term and Nara just got to watch.
