This is as far west as Alexander Mackenzie made it on his trip across Canada. He didn't actually carve this - that was done by surveyers later.

It appears that Alexander MacKenzie beat Lewis and Clark across North America by 10 years! Well, here's to him then! Are they sure he wasn't actually an Ulster man? 'sa joke, man! Congratulations to the whole of the MacKenzie clan!
