I have a print of this work about 10 years old and after the Tate Gallery exhibition, I've discovered the colors on my print are not correct with the woman on the right wearing a green sarong, not blue, and the sarong on the woman on the left has a brown fabric instead of dark blue. Many printers such as Allposters still manufacture prints with the wrong colors.
I found one printer Art.com that has the blue sarong but the dark blue may not be correct, I have asked them for clarification.
I understand that a camera can copy the color of oil paints but sometimes printing technology is limited and replication is difficult.
I sincerely thank you for posting this photo, it shows the real Gauguin colors that are missing in 'fakes'.

I can image two different reasons why your print is wrong - it's possible that the original photo was sloppy (for instance the photographer used daylight balanced film and non-daylight lighting) or that the negative they printed from had aged badly. Digital workflows and digital cameras have made people much more sensitive to these issues - in the 90s these kinds of errors were common and people just didn't seem sensitive to it.
