Pole In Haida Village

These are two of the poles from the Haida village at the Museum of Anthropology. The close pole is mortuary pole carved by Bill Reid with Doug Cranmer. The major figure is a bear Chief, holding a cub to his chest. The pole behind was carved by Jim Hart and is a replica of a pole from Masset.
