This used to be the pier in front of the general store, but that store has long since been closed. This is where there was one of Winter Harbour's two fuel docks. I remember as a kid being down on the float with my cousins and falling in the chuck when I was getting back into my skiff to row home, had to kick off my gumboots to be able to swim to shore.
