David is taking pictures. We are north of Merritt on the Coquihalla going towards Lac Le Jeune looking east. If I had to guess, this might be Sussex Lake.
David is taking pictures. We were driving up the Coquihalla just past Merritt when the view just got too good - we pulled over for a snap. It's coming up on sunset.
View Of The Lake And Mount Fuji
The taxi driver knew where to drive us - while we were taking photos two other taxi's came by and let our tourists to take the same photo. If you look through the top of the clouds you will see a tiny piece of Fuji. We never got a better view.
Rainier Reflected
Apparently sunrise is "the time to go". By the afternoon the wind had picked up and the lake was too rough to form a good reflection.
Small Lake In Meadow
That hill in front of the small lake would be the perfect spot to find a hobbit house. I wonder if that hill represents the end of a glacial advance.
