Milky Way And Lighthouse At Stanley Park
I saw a post on the internet on how to bring out the milky way in very light polluted locations. I tried their procedure and sure enough - you can see it a little bit. There is also a meteor in this shot - the perseid meteor shower was starting.
This is the Lighthouse at Turn Pt on Stuart Island in the San Juan island chain (built in 1936). Around the corner is massive cliff with rookeries on it.
Sandheads Lighthouse
Sandheads Lighthouse is right at the end of the river. I don't really understand it - no big tower, a huge building and no obvious way to land a boat.
