We met up at the Jer's house and then met at Dairy Queen - we arrived 7 minuets
apprart - not bad for heavy traffic and a three hour drive. Dairy Queen consumed, we hit the
road going north to Lac Le Jeune.

Curious Osprey Family This is an artificial nest tree but a very successful family - there were three almost full sized chicks in the nest.

Red-Naped Sapsucker Helen noticed this bird while I was taking photos of the Osprey. You can see how the tree has been damaged so that the Sapsucker can get a meal.
