Cabbage White Feeding On Flower
I'm still learning to take photos of butterflies - I always figured these white things were moths but I was wrong. These two were very active (chasing each other it seemed) and were very particular about which flowers they fed on. Species: Pieris rapae (Cabbage White)

Great Burnet With Butterfly
The flower is quite striking. The butterfly was a nice touch. I thought this was a European Skipper at the time, but it quite clearly isn't. Species: Sanguisorba officinalis (Great Burnet, official burnet), Lycaena mariposa (Mariposa Copper)

Bee On Bed
Echinacea Purpurea - Purple Coneflower. The bug is probably a Yellow Jacket - Vespula family. Capturing bees on a plant is hard - they both seem to move. John Harvey Photo > Flowers in Vancouver Public Parks > Sutcliffe Park > Bee On Bed
