This is at the Saturday Market in Ganges.  The market isn't so much a farmers market as an outdoor gallery.  What you did
see for food was either exotic (beautiful mushrooms) or refined (goats cheese) so seeing staples was a bit
of a surprise.

For some reason Sean has (for a while) wanted to rent a boat and go for
a cruise. Saltspring gave us a great opportunity to go for a drive.

This is a shell beach on the tip of one of the three sisters Islands.  The little
red boat is the one we rented.

These are local made candles - I think the text is Noel Hancock Candles.

There are a number of pottery makers on the island and
all of them were good.

I'm a sucker for paper.  Jeremy received a journal from here.

This vendor was selling cool painted household objects.  I really like the bright
colors and farm like images.

Sunset is great.  We are facing northwest off the back deck.

It's always nice when your house has a badminton court
in the backyard. This Andrea and Mark showing off how to play.

That winding road is the route to the ferry.  The farms close by
are beautiful.

This is a white faced sheep - I believe it's either a show sheep, breeding stock or a beloved pet.

These chairs are the second best place to .  The best
is the hot tub.

The house in the back is where we stayed.  The farm building in the front was part of the
studio/barn/working part of the farm.
