Vancouver From Burrard Dock Pier
This was shot at 42mm. I took a photo every 10 seconds from 6:28am to 8:18am - 664 frames. Exposure started at f5.6 8 second (under exposed 1 and 2/3rds stops) and ended at f14, 1/50th of a second. I like to under expose and bring it up in post so that I can keep detail in the bright areas.
Freighters Before Storm
From where we were standing on the pier, we could see the North Shore mountains disappearing behind an approaching wall of rain.
Smog Sunset
This is the sun at least half an hour from hitting the horizon - the smog is so thick it feels like sunset. The smog is likely from agricultural burning in Asia but it's hard to be sure.
These big ships bring in most of Vancouver's (and I can only assume much of North America's) cars. This ships look terrible, but the cars filling the lot look great.
