Ghosts of Andrea

This was about a two minute expose at f1.4. I painted Andrea in with my little flash light.
The foreground Andrea is too close for where the focus was set.
As she moved backward, she came into the field of focus.

Moon light view of the Canyon

This is the Canyon at 9pm.  Sun set about 2 hours ago and this exposure is 5 minutes.

Jer Circle

A good shot because it shows a clear face.

Andrea Tending Fire

This is a multi second exposure (4 or 6) at f1.4 (the fire wasn't very bright). Having the bums
in the background (trying to get warm) made me giggle.

John Name

I'll admit it, I wrote my name backward and flipped it in photoshop. I wish I was left handed,
does that count?

Palm Tree Silhouettes
I like how palm trees blur in the wind. We were walked down the beach from our All inclusive and the sun set in the Dominican Republic turned out to be bother sooner and faster than I expected. The twilight made for some great long exposures.

Palm Trees At Sunset
My favorite part is that venus is just starting to poke in. This is actually my favorite palm tree picture from the Dominican Republic trip.

Tent lit up by Flash Light

Andrea sat in the tent and lit up the inside with a flash light.  It was 2, 30 second exposures
at f2.8.  I would have exposed for longer next time around.

Shaky Sunset Boating
This image was taken 5 times longer than it should have been to be motion blur free.

Sitting Around Camp Fire
That is Doug with his penny whistle.

Stars Above The Curve
You can see the rocking of the boats in the wide mast lights.

Camp Fire And Stars Above The Curve
you could quite clearly see the Milky Way here. I have a picture but of course the plant turned and made everything blurry!

Pool of Water on Twenty Six Mile Creek

I believe this was a 6 second exposure - f22 with the polarizer. The water appears much less
streaky in real life.

Karen's Hi!

This was the last shot of the night and Karen had figured out how
to make that sparkler shine.

Sean's Star

I have no idea why Sean pretty much disappered.

Thao's Play

Halloween night we bought some fireworks.  The photo shoot was inspired
by a Picasso portrait (he draws a bull).

Mark's First

Mark went first and his sparkler was a bit of a dud.  We
had to roast the sparklers for a few minuets (over the MSR stove)
to get them to work correctly.

Veiled Falls

I knew I lugged my tripod up the hill for some reason.
