Sea Urchin Barrons

Haida Gwaii has a sea urchin problem - their primary predator (Sea Otter) was hunted to extinction. There has been a few sightings of sea otters at the Southernmost tip of Haida Gwaii, but it's often lone males that colonize a place first so it it may be a while before a real population takes hold.
