This stream looked unaltered by man and I think shows some of the flora growing in Japan.

Did you have to use an ND filter to get this shot - its something similar I would like to achieve

It's 50 speed film and a tripod - probably f16 or greater. I'm guessing from the veil it's between half and two seconds. Sunny Sixteen (on a bright day, you get 1/film speed (1/50th) at f11. Because of the forest canopy and overcast, it's probably 4 stops down - 1/25, 1/12, 1/6, 1/3 or so.
