Every year the lower mainland firefighters put on a light display at Stanley Park to raise funds for various burn units.  I've been for a few years, but this is the first year we decided to book tickets on the train. 

Nara has a gymnastics class on Saturday mornings.  Today was special - it was the only class where parents are allowed (in the last 15 minutes) to come in and take photos of their kids.  The kids were doing a "circuit" so Nara showed her skills through the various stages of the circuit.  She really seemed to be having a good time and I think she has gained some upper body strength. 

Nara's gym class close to the Hillcrest pool so some days we go swimming after her class.  This week, Helen was feeling a bit under the weather so we went to the drop in playzone at the Mount Pleasant Community Centre.  I haven't been to this gym before so I was surprised at the toys.  This drop-in doesn't have a bouncy castle, but it does have a lot of ride on toys.  Claira really liked the ride on toys - she tried pretty much one of every kind.  Another nice feature is that they have a snack table area so I could feed one child while still watching the other - nice!
