Mexico Trip, Pictures from WaterGo to Slide Show

We bought a few funsavers (disposable 35mm cameras that scratch (and underexpose) 800 asa film).  The results from all three cameras were terrible, but I thought I'd show at least a few pictures.

Above the water

The little cameras come with a strap and don't seem to mind the pounding surf.  The first picture is Wyatt Bogie boarding in the surf in front of the resort.  We often went, but we only brought the camera once.  The resort is in the background.  The second shot is in the mariates islands - I'm getting thrown around in the wash and thankfully the water was come through the arch, not sucking into it.  We shot lots pictures in the clear water here but very few had sufficent contrast to be useful.  Above water flare is very bad.

People In Water

The only mamal we saw large enough to shoot were these large white air breathers.  I like the shot of Mark, the color contrast is sufficent to draw you in.  I like the composition of Chris but there is too much glow from the bubbles in the water and it's just not sharp.  Considering I'm shooting from below, I was surprised it didn't turn into a silhoutte.

Fishies

Fish are designed to blend in and they do that quite well.  Using low contrast film, plastic optics, and shaking the camera, the pic's aren't bad.
