Gavia immer (Common Loon)

This was my challenge bird for this trip. I know - not a hard challenge. We saw them in lots of road side ponds, but when we got to campgrounds the loons were always on the other side of the lake. At Ten Mile Lake the loons got close enough shore that I could take a photo.
