At Landing Beach
This beach was protected from the open ocean. The land on the left was prohibited as it is a "burial" place (the Haida didn't burry underground - bodies were kept above ground.
Seal Skull Washed Up On Beach
I was surprised how much color was still in the bones. The spine and some of the ribs were still attached giving us a general size of this animal.
Running Water
I believe this is Boat Passage in front of us. We are standing on Saturna Island and that is Samuel Island in front of us. That current can get quite strong.
At The Beach At Sunset
I think Nara took this but I can't be sure - I also took a few images of the same subject. It was really quite windy. The 4:3 aspect ratio is quite a throw back - I haven't seen that in a while.
