Sunflower Star and Leather Star
The sunflower (Pycnopodia helianthoides) is a real predator - it would eat the leather star (Dermasterias imbricata) if given a chance. This sunflower star has 18 arms, but from the look of it, some are rather new. Fully grown, they should about 20 arms.

Indo Pacific Sand Star
We found this sea star in the sand and thought it was lost because all of our sea stars live on rocks. We walked it to the rocks at the end of beach and "set it free". I hope it found it's way back down to the sand.
