Tadpole Lurking In The Shallows
I think you can see legs about half way down the body. It's hard for me to tell if this is a green frog or bull frog tadpole - I suspect it's a green frog because there are many green frogs in this pond in the summer, and the body to tail ratio is longer (likely Green Frog) and it doesn't have black spots (Bullfrogs have black spots). Green Frog Half Submerged
I think if this was a bullfrog that ridge wouldn't continue down the back, it would wrap around the Tympanum and then end. Species: Lithobates clamitans (Green Frog)

Claira Looking At An Inch Worm
I spent quite a bit of time looking up this thing - I think it's a Winter Moth - Operophtera brumata. Introduced species, likes to eat leafy trees. I believe the chickadee's like to feed these to the babies. Tags: Richmond Nature Park
