Common Murre
While we sailed through the larger channels, I would hang out with my long(ish) lens and shoot whatever happened to be close. I'm a lister I guess.
Lions Mane Jelly Near Shore
This guy had swam too close to shore and some of his tentacles were pinched in the shells of muscles. He eventually worked himself free but not without some losses.
Northern Kelp Crab In Hand
This little guy moved around pretty fast, but liked the top of Mike's backpack. We found others when paddling - they were generally hanging on kelp. Pugettia producta.
